Meghan made a surprise appearance at the Parisian fashion event this past weekend to support a fashion designer friend.

Meghan was present at the Balenciaga show after taking a solo trip across the Atlantic.

She has donned several creations by the fashion house's fresh creative head Pierpaolo Piccioli and the visit signaled "her support for his new creative chapter," a spokesman for the duchess stated.

It was her first time at the style showcase for more than a decade.

"Throughout the past, the royal figure has sported a number of designs by Pierpaolo," the representative commented.

"They have worked closely together collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage."

"She has long admired his craftsmanship and contemporary grace, and tonight was the same."

"This evening represents the peak of a long time of artistry and companionship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at the fashion house."

Meghan, who announced her arrival in Paris with an social media post, chose a light-colored ensemble of flowing pants and a blazer from the line for the event on Saturday.

Meghan is last known to have visited the UK in late 2022 to participate in a philanthropic gathering and was in the country when Queen Elizabeth II passed away. She and Prince Harry then remained for the funeral.

Prince Harry saw his parent, the monarch recently amid rumors about a mending of ties.

He has made several trips to the United Kingdom in the past few years for a range of activities including for fundraising occasions and to be present at court cases.

This week, the Duke of Sussex appeared to dial in for a court session in a lawsuit against the publishing group.
